All About Us
-
1. What does ALZA Group do?
ALZA Group is a full-service metal fabrication partner for OEMs and manufacturers. We bring together metal cutting, forming, welding, fabrication, finishing and other capabilities to help you move projects from raw material to finished parts through one coordinated partner.
-
2. What types of metal fabrication do you provide?
Our capabilities include flat and tube laser cutting, waterjet cutting, forming and bending, panel bending, welding, fabrication, hardware insertion, finishing and more. Our broad metal fabrication capabilities allow us to support everything from individual components to complex assemblies — at just about any volume or quantity.
-
3. What materials do you work with?
We work with a wide range of metals, including mild steel, stainless steel, aluminum, copper, brass and bronze. Our team can help determine the right material and production approach for your specific application.
-
4. What types of companies does ALZA Group work with?
We primarily work with OEMs, manufacturers and other businesses that rely on fabricated metal components and assemblies. Whether you need a simple production part or a more complex manufacturing solution, we can help.
-
5. Can you handle both simple parts and complex assemblies?
Yes. Our capabilities and production resources allow us to support everything from simple laser-cut components and formed parts to welded assemblies and more complex fabrication projects.
We aim to provide the ultimate in convenience for our partners, so that means delivering a wide range of metal fabrication projects from simple to complex.
-
6. What makes ALZA Group different from other fabrication companies?
We bring more capabilities, capacity and coordination together under one roof. Instead of managing multiple fabrication vendors, you can work with one partner that can help coordinate the processes, people and production resources needed to get your parts made.
-
7. Why work with ALZA Group instead of multiple fabrication vendors?
Working with one coordinated partner can simplify your supply chain and reduce the handoffs between vendors. It’s faster and eliminates finger pointing. Our teams work together to keep communication clear, manage production and help keep your project moving from one process to the next.
-
8. Can you help improve my parts?
Yes. Our Tech Team reviews drawings and production requirements and can identify opportunities to improve manufacturability, quality, material utilization, cost or production efficiency before your parts go into production.
This is part of the added value of working with a strategic fabrication partner like ALZA Group.
-
Can you handle prototypes, low-volume and high-volume production?
Yes. We support a wide range of production requirements, from individual prototypes and smaller runs to recurring production and high-volume manufacturing. Our team can help determine the right approach for your project.
-
10. Where is ALZA Group located?
ALZA Group operates three strategically located facilities in Pennsylvania’s Mid-Atlantic manufacturing corridor. Their proximity to major highways and shipping routes gives us the logistical flexibility to efficiently serve customers across the country.
-

Or speak with our team immediately by calling 484-514-9000.
-
2. What information do you need to prepare a quote?
The more information you can provide, the more accurately we can quote your project. Typically, we’ll need your part drawings or CAD files, material and thickness, quantities, required processes and any important delivery requirements.
-
3. What file types does ALZA Group accept?
We work with common CAD and drawing formats used in manufacturing. If you’re not sure whether we can work with your files, send them to us and our team can let you know what we need.
A good starting point is usually Solidworks files. DWG, DXF and STEP files are also good.
-
4. How long does it take to receive a quote?
Our goal is always to respond quickly, usually within a business day or two. However, quote timing depends on the size and complexity of the project and how much information is provided.
Once we receive your request, our team will review it and work to get you pricing and lead-time information as quickly as possible.
-
5. What happens after I receive a quote?
Once you receive the quote, you can ask any questions you have and/or approve the job.
As soon as you approve the quote, we’ll work with you to finalize the order details and schedule production. Our team then coordinates the technical review, production planning and manufacturing process to keep everything moving.
-
6. Do I need a purchase order to place an order?
Yes. A purchase order helps us confirm the details of your order, including the parts, quantities, pricing and delivery requirements. Our team will make sure we have the information needed before production begins.
-
7. What happens after I place an order?
Your order moves through technical review, production planning, manufacturing and quality control before being prepared for delivery. Throughout the process, our teams coordinate internally to keep your project on track as well as communicate with you on status, timing and any questions that arise.
-
8. Who will be my point of contact?
Our Partnership Team helps keep communication simple throughout the process. They coordinate with our Tech Team, Operations Team and other resources so you don’t have to track down the right person for every question.
-
9. How do you handle questions about my order?
If we have a question or something needs clarification, our team will reach out. We work to identify questions early, get the right people involved and keep your project moving rather than letting an unanswered question create a delay.
If you have a question, you’re welcome to reach out to us any time during the project and our Partnership Team will be happy to help! We know your project is important, so we will respond quickly with the info you need.
-
10. Can I make changes after placing an order?
We understand that requirements can change. If you need to make a change, contact our Partnership Team as soon as possible. We’ll review the request and determine what can be changed based on the status of your order.
-
11. How do you ensure parts meet specifications?
Our Tech Team reviews your drawings and requirements before production and we use quality control and inspection processes throughout manufacturing. Our goal is to make sure the parts you receive meet the exact specifications you provided.
-
12. How are parts shipped or delivered?
We can coordinate a variety of delivery and shipping options based on your requirements, including freight, parcel shipping, customer pickup and other arrangements. Our team can work with you to determine the most practical option for your order.
